Zitting Cisticola - Majorca - 2009

Hoopoe - Majorca - 2009

Saw a few of these but this is the best shot I could get in fading light.

Never showed well and only saw 1 bird all week

Holiday to Majorca 5th - 12th May 2009

Spent from 5th to 12th May in sunny Majorca with the family and was lucky to get out for 2 days birding and a few snatched hours here and there when the wife wasn't looking. 27 new species seen out of 80+ species seen in total. Highlights were the Bee-eaters and Little Bittern from 10 feet away.
